Job Resident Services - Night Shifts

Housekeeper required for Seniors' Living Facility.

Green Acres Foundation is seeking a dynamic multi-tasker, with a strong customer service focus, and superior cleaning skills to work in the position of Resident Services (Housekeeping).

The ideal candidate should be safety and hygiene driven and have above average cleaning skills. We are also looking for a team-oriented person who has a flexible, willing, and positive attitude.

About the position:

• This is a permanent full-time position
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Shifts to cover in this position are: 10pm to 6am / 5 days per week.
  
  

Basic Responsibilities of the Position Include:

• Cleaning kitchen, dining room, and other common areas by completing such tasks as vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage containers, and cleaning surfaces.
• Complete specialized, seasonal, and deep cleaning duties.
• Using floor scrubbing and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Dining room set up.
• Laundry duties.
• Facility lock up and ongoing facility checks as required for the shift.
• Other duties as required.
  
  

What will be required for the position:

• A current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months).
• The ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English.
• First Aid Certification, WHMIS Training, and Food Safe Certification is an asset.
